Our monthly rate depends on the room (companionship or private) and how much help your parent needs day to day, which we set together after a free care assessment. One all-inclusive rate covers care, meals, medication administration, laundry, housekeeping, activities and utilities. Yes. We accept all three ALTCS plans in Maricopa County: Mercy Care, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan and Banner – University Family Care. ALTCS residents live in the same renovated rooms as private-pay residents.

Often, yes. Many families private-pay for the first month or two while ALTCS is approved, then switch. Call us and we'll walk through the timing with you.

ALTCS pays for the care. The resident usually pays a monthly share of cost and room and board from their own income, and keeps a personal needs allowance. Our ALTCS guide has a worked example.

Yes. We are licensed for directed care, Arizona's highest assisted-living level, and care for residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias, including residents who wander. The building and backyard are secured.

We care for residents who need Hoyer-lift transfers, insulin, catheter care, incontinence care, wheelchairs and walkers. We don't have a nurse on site, so we can't do catheter changes or other skilled-nursing tasks, and we don't admit hospice or behavioral-health residents.

No. Our caregivers are trained in assisted living and dementia care, and we coordinate with home health, physicians, pharmacies and ALTCS case managers for any skilled needs.

Yes. Caregivers are awake and on duty 24 hours a day, every day.

It's our name for a shared room. Two residents share a large renovated bedroom, each with their own bed, nightstand, TV and storage. Many residents, especially those with dementia, feel calmer and less lonely with a roommate, and it makes care more affordable.

We have one private room. Call us to ask about availability and rates.

Rooms come furnished, and residents are welcome to bring photos, a favorite chair or quilt, and the things that make it feel like home.

Family can visit any day. Our normal hours are 8 am to 8 pm; outside those hours just call the family line so the caregivers know you're coming.

Yes. You're welcome to bring snacks and favorite meals or have takeout delivered. Let us know about any diet restrictions so we can help.

Please bring them. The backyard has a play set and swings so visits with little ones are easy and fun.

Four steps: a tour, a free care assessment so we can set the care level and plan, paperwork (including a physician's order), then move-in day. When needs are urgent we can often move quickly.
